Privacy Notice

Information we collect and why

• Account: email address and sign-in details, to create and secure your account.
• Profile: name and preferences you provide.
• Course records: enrollments, notices you acknowledged, lesson stages, learning session activity and time, section checks, quiz attempts with your answers and scores, help requests, and module completion. These are kept as education records and may be subject to state record-keeping requirements.
• Notes: notes you choose to save.
• Instructor chat (always saved): your conversations with Maya are always saved to your own learning record for that course so she remembers you between classes. Other learners never see them.
• Support requests: the topic and message you send, visible to you and authorized staff.

AI processing

When you ask Maya for help or talk with the simulated buyer, the text of your message and the relevant lesson or scenario context are sent to an AI model through our hosting provider's AI service to generate a reply. Virtual Showing conversations are not saved by the academy.

Microphone and live avatar

• The microphone is used only after you turn it on and your browser grants permission. You can deny or revoke permission in your browser settings and type instead.
• Speech-to-text in the Virtual Showing uses your browser's built-in speech feature. Depending on your browser, audio may be processed by the browser maker.
• The live instructor is provided by LemonSlice. When you start a live session, your voice and the conversation are processed by LemonSlice under its own terms. We have not verified whether LemonSlice keeps audio or transcripts, so we do not claim that it is never retained. The academy does not currently import LemonSlice transcripts into your record.

Who processes your information

• Lovable Cloud — hosting, sign-in, database and the AI service used for Maya's text help and the simulated buyer.
• LemonSlice — live avatar sessions (lemonslice.com).

We do not sell your information and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Browser storage

Your browser stores your sign-in session so you stay logged in, and a short-lived marker so the welcome video doesn't replay in the same tab. There are no tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Security

Records are protected by sign-in and access rules so learners see only their own data and staff see data for their school. No system is perfectly secure.

Your choices and requests

You can view your learning record, edit notes, and choose whether instructor chat is stored. To ask about, correct or remove your information, send a request through the support page. Some course records may need to be kept to meet education record requirements. Retention periods and deletion timelines are still under owner review, so we are not promising specific timelines yet.
